A twelve-year-old Labrador mix came into my exam room at 94 pounds, breathing hard just from the walk from the parking lot to the scale. That’s not universal advice, though. Where joint support fits, and where it doesn’t

The counterargument I take seriously is that some owners will lean on a supplement as permission to progress faster than the joints can handle.
